0:5 Prep | 0:10 Cook | 2 Servings
- 270g Amazing Shirataki Angel Hair
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- ½ cup garlic, minced
- 1 can of Spanish-style sardines
- Chicken stock (1/4 chicken cube dissolved in 1 cup water)
- 3/4 teaspoon dried chilli flakes
- Handful of basil, chopped
- Salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste
Cook shirataki as per packet’s instruction - rinse with cold water, boil for 2 minutes & drain.
Make the sauce while the pasta is cooking. Heat the oil in a large heavy-bottomed pan to hot, but not smoking. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Once fragrant, slightly lower the heat and toss in chili flakes. Stir well and cook for one minute.
Add the can of sardines with oil to the frying pan and bring to a gentle boil. Add chicken stock (¼ chicken cube dissolved in 1 cup of water) and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add cooked shirataki noodles. Mix until fully coated.
Season with salt, pepper, and more lemon juice, if desired. Finish with lemon juice and basil.
